Ride across America in 33 days

Chris Hoeber committed to completing a bike ride across America — and did! His final travel distance was 3472.75 miles and donations totaled well over $10,000!!

100% of your generous donations went directly to the Special Need Children Center Foundation (SNCCF), a 501 C-3 foundation dedicated to improve the life of special need children. Contributions were tax deductible.

Chris left from Costa Mesa, California on Sunday, April 24th on a cross-country journey that ended in Amesbury, Massachusetts on Thursday, May 26th.  The 33 day trip averaged about 112 miles a day and was the equivalent of about one and a half times around the Tour de France — très magnifique.  Along the way, Chris detailed the route and described his adventures in a Blog which he updated daily.  The Blog includes photos, stories of the friends he met along the way, and his descriptions of some of the mental and physical obstacles he found challenging.  You can link to the Blog at: http://hoeberc.blogspot.com/.
